How are shipping costs determined?
When you check out your shipping cost will be estimated based on rates from USPS, distance the package is traveling, and how heavy your order is. We work very hard to offer the best (and lowest) shipping rates we can! We do not offer time sensitive shipping options at this time (no over night or priority shipping). This allows us to try and secure the lowest possible rates for all customers.
Does Red Velvet ship internationally?
Yes! We could never leave out our international friends! Red Velvet ships pretty things all over the world. We even offer free shipping to international customers on orders over $200.
Does Red Velvet ever offer any discounts on shipping?
We sure do! When you spend $200 or more with us your shipping is free! This applies to domestic AND international customers!
How soon will my order be shipped?
We ship orders twice each week. We do not ship on Holidays and weekends (Sundays and Mondays for us). In the event that we have an overwhelming number of orders (this sometimes happens during the dress line launches) your order can take longer to package and ship. Please know that we work hard to ship your order as quickly and for the least expense to you as we possibly can as small business.
How are packages packed?
Each order is packed by hand on a case by case basis. We work very hard to provide proper consideration for your order.
Will I receive a shipping confirmation?
Yes, when your order is shipped you will receive an email with tracking information if your order was shipped domestically (within the US) or with priority international shipping. If you are an international customer and you do not choose 'priority' shipping Red Velvet will not be able to provide you with tracking information, nor will we be able to track your order in the event that it gets lost or stolen.
Do you provide gift wrapping?
We do not at this time, but feel free to request a gift message from Elsie or Emma after you place an order.
